My two boys have been having drum lessons with Richard for 3 years now and are making great progress. They really enjoy their lessons, and look forward to going every week. They have a great student / teacher relationship and Richard knows how to tailor the lessons to the individual needs, ambitions and expectations of both my boys. Richard is a great teacher who pays attention to detail. He makes the lessons enjoyable, well structured and progressive. Richard has taught me for several years now and has consistently been a great teacher. We've covered a range of different styles and genres. He has always been extremely patient, supportive and great at explaining each topic/lesson. Every lesson is fun and I learn a lot. I would definitely recommend Richard to anyone who is interested in learning to drum whether they're just starting or looking to advance their skills
I had been self learning consistently for about a year before beginning lessons and feel I progressed more over the space of several lessons than I had the entire year previous. Richard is a great teacher with a lot of experience and a great demeanour. The facilities are great and my lessons have quickly become my favourite part of the week. Can't recommend lessons with Richard enough.
I’ve been drumming with Richard for just over 4 years now. He is an excellent teacher and makes every lesson fun and enjoyable. I always look forward to our drum lessons every fortnight. He is a very experienced teacher and he makes learning the drums seem a lot easier. I would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to learn to play the drums.
Excellent drum tutor! Helped me as a beginner - so helpful. Really enjoy his 1 on 1 sessions as they’re really fun and can already see improvement in my ability as a drummer. Would definitely recommend his lessons!!
