Okay, honestly this shop felt like a treasure box full of goods form the Indian subcontinent and North Africa sold at tripe, quadrupole the price of items I have got directly from the source! I know Keswick is predominantly white and middle class and probably can’t tell the difference, but people like me can’t be fooled! I understand tax and profit etc but selling “ethnic” stuff for expensive is a bit unethical to me. I will add though, there was a mini antiques shop tucked inside the back, I’m not sure if it was a separate store renting the space or integrated with Magpie, but that guy in there was super cool and I enjoyed having a warm chat with him and the items were beautiful- I enjoyed that bit. But magpie itself needs to address its ethics !

One of my favourite shops in Keswick always an eclectic mix of jewellery and decorative items, the perfect place to go if you are stuck looking for a gift for someone.
Good selection of food and drinks also tea and coffee very helpful staff and a good menu clean.
