All shops and duty free close at 9pm. Doesn't have any single launch open 24h for people who are in connection flight. Doesn't have a single comfortable chair or bench to wait for long hours. Doesn't have smoking lounge in all airport, the automatic border machines Doesn't work properly. Only recommend to use this airport if no other way to your destination!

It's well run and organized with courteous and professional staff to help with you with any questions that you may have. Signs are both in English and Spanish so it's really helpful for anyone with very little Spanish plus it's wheelchair accessible and you can also take the local metro to the city centre as well. A great airport all round.

I've been to this airport countless times. The majority of flights operate from terminal 4 (T4) and it is a wonderful new and modern building. Super tall ceilings, nice and quiet, fast free wifi, enough security lanes to avoid long lines, signs and signaling is on point. They even have a metro station built right under the terminal that will take you anywhere in Madrid for around 5. The main issue is that there are another three terminals and all three of those are terrible. Old, grey, dated, poorly connected, no modern shuttle between them (just a bus). What's even worse is that if you have a connection, you'll have to exit and go through security again.

Very good & nice airport. This year I am in this airport after few years. Happy to be here. Staff is good here. Bar & restaurant are good here. Immigration staff is also very good.

I landed in Madrid airport one time only back to late 2018 because of a long layover on my way back to USA. Huge, clean, organized place by all measures. Everyone was nice and professional : immigration officers, security screnners.. Yeah, T4 terminal is so huge and it took me almost 40 minutes from entrance to departure gate. So sad I spent only a night in the beautiful city of Madrid that I'm missing so much. Wish to visit it again in the coming future.
