Located in the historical centre of Madrid is a great option if you want to grasp the authentic atmosphere of traditional Madrid. Traditional food is well prepared and try Cocido Madrileño is mandatory if you visit

The best Cocido Madrileño in Madrid. Attention was exellent. Highly recomended for family or a couple. Food well served. Super clean and cozy.

Excellent restaurant, full of locals! Their speciality is the cocido, typical Madrid's dish..I suggest you try it, if you are not vegetarian! Lots of meats.. It's a bit pricey but in line with the great service

If you have found the Spanish to be friendly and accommodating then pass this place by. The staff was rude and dismissive and the clientele brutish. There are many great places to spend your money in this beautiful city, don’t waste it here.

The staff behaved as though we were not welcome. We were told the kitchen was closed even though others were being served. They agreed to serve us drinks but then we were given the check immediately (in Spain no one gives you the check until you ask for it). There was a large table of what appeared to be regulars or locals. They were very rude. Not moving to allow us to pass. Then accusing me of not saying “excuse me” as I tried to get to the exit. Altogether a very uncomfortable situation. I don’t know if Americans are not welcome there but that’s what it felt like to us.

Very good food and excellent service! Just around the corner from the 'tourist' places. The dining section is in the back, don't be scared off by the pub up front. Especially the meats were excellent.

The experience was as expected. Its literally the definition of Madrid, elegant, historic, great atmosphere and amazing food. It's an experience that you'll have to try everything was cooked to perfection. I had some of the best steaks Ive ever had and I travelled around and tried streak's in Texas and New York. This was an experience I highly recommend it is slightly pricy but worth every euro.
