I do not recommend. Booked the hotel last minute due to limited availabilities in Madrid during that period, the experience was awful despite the good location: dirty rooms, rude staff and very noisy in the night.

As a last minute booking this Hotel was a nice surprise. For the price it is in a great central location. Less than 5 minutes walk to Callal metro and only 10minutes walk to Plaza Major, Puerta del Sol and the Opera. The rooms are basic but clean and my room had nice old style window shutters that could be left open all day. The kind fellow who runs the hostel named Serafin, was helpful with a map of the neighbourhood and carried my heavy suitcase up 3 flights of stairs. It was safe and secure and I was happy to stay there. One tip, it is on a very busy street and Madrid doesn't sleep so take your earplugs if you're a light sleeper!
I can surley recommend this hostel, people working there are very nice cultural

Entre gustos y colores... Algo costoso es... ¿Pero acaso no lo es también Madrid? \u200d️ Aun así, en lo personal, la habitación que me tocó, que daba hacia la plaza de Santa María, me pareció estupenda. La cama, más que suficiente - en todos los aspectos - para un endiablado viajero solitario. \u200d️ Y el trato de VIP del hombre a cargo del lugar hacia uno como cliente, nada tiene que ver con el maltatro que dan tantos "hotelazos" de 3, 4 y/o/u 5 estrellas a los que he tenido la oportunidad de ir(no solo en Madrid, sino también en otras partes de España e incluso más allá de sus fronteras). Que siga así y no se descuide.
Els preus molt ajustats, molt simpàtic el personal, a prop de tot sense cap necessitat d'agafar bus ni metro. Hi ha un munt de restaurants etc. Ho recomano
