I'm not sure why the ratings are so high here. We went tonight and had spinach enchiladas, a chimichanga, chicken nuggets kids meal and a margarita. I had one bite and the husband managed to choke down half of his entree. Even the margarita was so weak it was just the mix and a splash of tequila. With the bill at almost 50 it should have been much, much better.

Madres Cocina is a cozy strip mall mom-and-pop establishment. We went for lunch and were promptly seated. The general dining are was neat and clean. You do have to pass through utility areas to get to restrooms. The service was prompt and attentive. We never lacked for anything. The chips and salsa were pretty good, as was their white queso. The food in general was pretty decent and the lunch menu a good value. I would have liked a little more kick to the seasonings, but I love spicey.
The food is always fresh and delicious, cashiers hands over excellent service. I love the cleanliness and ambience. I highly recommend this place.
Food is usually good, but today I was told my pick up order would be ready in 20 minutes or so and I have been waiting for over 45 minutes total, including the 20 minutes I had to wait once I got up to the restaurant...... Literally 2 bites of refried beans, my enchiladas were unrolled, I think the picture speaks for itself. Very unsatisfied.
This place is wonderful from food to service. The food is awesome, I totally would recommend taking the time to stop in and eat here.
