Out for a Half term drive, saw this place was open. Popped in for some delicious freshly cooked chips. Absolutely lovely, plus mountains of salt and vinegar

Meg got F&C for us here on two occasions. The portion sizes are amazing. Both Fish and Chips are beautifully presented and taste good. If I could personally seek an improvement it would be to not have the batter so well cooked or cooked in such warm oil.

Top fish and chips. Lovely food, with plenty of seating inside with aircon for hot days. Has a massive fish tank for keeping kids amused. Brilliant service and lovely people who bring out food really quickly. Worth the visit if you fancy fish and chips and want to eat there and not take home.

Used to drive out to Brightlingsea a lot to get fish and chips from here. Then sit at the harbour watching the boats. It was lovely. Not sure whats happened but the last couple of experiences have been absolutely diabolical. By the time we got to the harbour oil from the boxes had run out all over the car floor. We rang out the cod and gave up with it as it looked like slop. The seagulls enjoyed them in the end. Never again

Thankyou Mac's Plaice Brightlingsea.... we've just enjoyed a fantastic meal .. fish & chips ( 1 being gluten free) great welcoming staff & service.. we will definitely return very soon.
