Nice quiet walks through salt-marshes, woodland and wetland. Currently one way paths with the hides closed due to covid-19. The views alone are worth the visit. Note: dogs are not allowed at this nature reserve. Car park is free but there is an entry charge for none RSPB members (4.50 an adult).

A little bit of everything!

Beautiful place to visit with your family, a range of walks to choose from and abundant in bird species. There are bird watching huts dotted around all of the walks and the visitors centre is staffed until 4pm that serves hot drinks, cakes and ice cream. At the front there is a free car park and picnic benches. Please be aware there is a policy of no dogs and the squirrels will try and nibble at your sandwiches.

Visited during Covid-19. Obviously lots of normally good things are shut, like the hides and the visitor centre, but the staff are friendly and informative and the place is very relaxing.

Great little DOG FREE! Place. Wildlife thrives here and the scenery is stunning.
