My hubby and I regularly visit around Aviemore at least once a year for a break with our dogs. Each time we visit Macdui's as the staff and environment are very welcoming, food is simple, honest, wholesome, very tasty and well priced. We would recommend it and we always return as we have never been disappointed. Also a good spot for a drink or cuppa but we always prefer having a meal when we visit.

Enjoyed what is typical pub grub menu and the haddock and chips were a very large portion, served by friendly smiling staff. Good Covid measures insitu
Excellent food & service. We've been looking around Aviemore for an unprotentious restaurant that doesn't mess with food in the name of fashion & trends. This place is it. It's good honest food stylishly presented. We had the venison burgers . Awesome. We'll be back. Dogs are also welcome which makes for a great atmosphere if you like man's best friend.
Simple food with expensive prices. As a side note, not sure why its American themed when Scotland and this part of town is so beautiful already, but the staff were lovely. Just wish the 16 meal tasted (and was) fresh for what I paid for it.
Amazing food, only giving 4 stars as the portions were a bit small. Either way, would come back and recommend getting the Pumpkin Ravioli, it’s delicious!
