I used Mac Miller for several years to maintain my HVAC at my house. They were one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Each time they came, they billed me the contract maintenance price In Advance-- before they did any work. Then each time once they did arrive, they would report some major work needed on a broken system and charge me that cost, usually upwards of 2-3K. Last year, I told them I'd like to replace the heat pump if it is such a lemon, and asked them for a quote to install a new reliable one. They never got back to me. So I got bids, replaced the heat pump with a different company, and Mac Miller CONTINUES to bill me even though I sent them a written cancellation letter for the contract-- which they required me to do. They rip off their customers. I think because they do so much commercial work, they are used to big business just paying them whatever they bill even if they do nothing. Don't use them! And in response to the owner’s response below, indeed they are a commercial contractor who has tried to go after residential business. I believe that is why they are so terrible about dealing with homeowners. This is definitely for the correct company. If they cared at all, they would call me, but they haven’t.
