Lovely quiet place for a spot of fishing or wildlife photography. Owners are very pleasant and helpful, plenty of hides with well stocked hangers. Reasonable price as well at only 20 and you can pretty much go where you like. Love it.

Visited to have tuition with Andy. The afternoon went far too quick. Had a supurb time, Andy is an excellent instructor and the waters and fishery as a whole is a lovely place for a peaceful day. Highly recommended. Will be back for further tuition with Andy.
Fished the coarse pool great place fish weren't feeding but I've fished it other times and had a great day reasonably priced not tried the trout pools yet that is on my list
Gets better with every visit.
I went for the first time last week, a great location with three lovely trout lakes. Mature trees and bank side vegetation with plenty of natural wildlife and insects. Lost count of all the pheasants and partridges,. The weather was quite warm and the trout were pretty active, going after insects on the top and dry in the shallows. I caught three, lost two and took two fish, 2 1/2 and 3 1/2lbs. Certainly one of the best fisheries in the north west, looking forward to trying the course lake as well.
