We stayed at Heaton House for our 5th wedding anniversary last night. We were in The Loft & had the most wonderful view of the venue. We were so pleased to be able to show our children exactly where we said our vows, and have a picnic under the tree that we had had our photos under. We were greeted by lovely Harriet on arrival, and Margaret and Mick soon came to say hi and see how we were. We felt so at home. I had stayed in The Loft with my bridesmaids the night before we got married, so it brought back some wonderful memories. I could have sat and looked out the window at the views for the duration of our stay. Breakfast in the morning in The Old Stableyard was so good. And felt very Covid safe, like everything else! They had everything you could possibly want, in such a gorgeous setting, and it was a lovely touch to be served by Margaret and Sarah! We were then able to have a peek round to see what had changed at the venue! We fell in love with this place when we visited looking for a venue, but they are always striving to make things even better. They have certainly succeeded! The room for the bridal party for the morning of the wedding is stunning!! Everything has been thought of, I could see myself sat in there doing it all again! The garden is just beautiful, and again, brought back such fabulous memories of a wander round with the photographer on our wedding day. Thank you so much HHF! To be able to show our children our special place has meant the World to us. We will be back again! ️
