Awesome support for everyone impacted by MS

Attractive premises, although lacking in sign posting. As it is a charity, to speak negatively feels wrong but I am not sure that it fulfills its aim. Attended early stage of MS and cannot fault the few sessions I had; However now in a wheelchair with PPMS and awaiting a bespoke bungalow, I realised that I gained nothing from attending. Having worked in the health service, I felt justified in my attendance but by sheer coincidence, encountered two individuals whom were associated to MS through relatives but they were attending to reap the privileges of this group. Identification of ones illness is not required and the social levels were not balanced. Opinions are varied but not equal when accessing the available sessions, for examples I would be lacking as I had the opportunity to discover only one. Sadly even my offer of volunteering was rejected (worked in psychiatry, head injuries, surgical, radiology and my final location radiology appointments, were insufficient to even get a chance). Found the whole experience deflating once I had reached the latter stages and very much angered by certain spokespersons whom have been exaggerating their knowledge of MS and over-inflating their \anguish\. Yes a charity by name but becoming more like a social club if Facebook photos are to go by. Wanted a mutual support group but found more of a \I am worse than you\ Managed my PIPS assessment alone realising this charity was not for me.

Can't make enough good comments, just to say if you have or a family member has MS, just go to them. They'll wrap their arms around you and give you the help and understanding that you need
