My husband and I had reserved a table at 1.30pm but we reached late and hungry after a long drive from Nice. The host accepted us and served us a most delicious and authentic South Indian Thali. We are from South of India and there are not a lot of places to find such authentic, beautiful food. Even the deco is so thoughtfully done. We will sure visit again. Highly recommended.

I am a south indian living in Lyon since more than one year. As I couldn't go back to India this year (due to covid), I was really missing home food, especially the dosa. After some research, I found this place and decided to try it. To my surprise, they didn't have dosa available which is supposedly the most celebrated dish of this restaurant. And also dosa is one of the only 5 dishes available on the menu, meaning 20% of the menu wasn't available lol. Hence, it was disappointing. As I had traveled so much, I decided to stay there and take the only other veggie option available, the thali (I am a vegetarian). Well, I liked the sambar and lassi ( which is not south indian btw) but two other side dishes were salty. Also, I realized later that appalam was missing in my thali lol. One thing good was that they gave me more sambar and rice on request :) And I will not complain about the high price because I don't really see south indian restaurants around. Update 1: I am adding a screenshot of the private message sent by the restaurant to me. They ask me not to come again because of my review.. I am ashamed now to call them indian lol Update 2: there was no idli mentioned in the menu. And it wasn't mentioned by the lady who took my order too. Also I am a vegetarian, sorry. I only spoke about what was written on the menu and what was offered to me. I gave an honest review. @restaurant: Please be respectful to your customers and don't spoil the impression on Indian culture here in France.
