A must visit for causal lunch. Simple menu but perfectly executed. Starter, main and dessert for 32 including water on weekends. Starters were very tasty however one of the mains was the best dish I've ever eaten in Lyon. Angus steak with crunchy beetroot and puree and sauté mushrooms. The hazelnut praline dessert was also very well balanced and delicious. Highly recommended.

Expect to wait for a table and an even longer wait for someone to take your order/serve you. Food is lovely, quite quaint. Not a huge selection but very yummy.

I might have been unlucky, cause I visited it during a peak hour. It was very busy, the stuff ignored you totally, they didn't clean my table after other visitors and didn't take the order for a long time. The food was good. As soon as the cafe emptied they paid more attention to their customers. I wish I had a better experience, really wanted to go here. UPD: You mistook me for another customer. You didn't offer me any table, they were all taken, so I sat at the one with the dishes (which was forgotten to be cleaned, like other tables; again I know it has to do with the peak hours). Also, I didn't complain that you didn't bring the order in time, I only said that I was waiting a very long time for the order to be taken. You served other customers, who came after me, until someone asked if the dishes on the table were mine. I do realise that it was a peak hour, but nevertheless I only want to genuinely share my experience, that's all. I think you took it as if I was too harsh on you, which is not true.

Heard great things about this place and rightly so! Friendly staff welcomed us in to sit amongst the alternative decor and furniture. Great coffee, tasty breakfast and fresh fruit to give us an ideal start to our day. Can we come here everyday?

I had a delicious birthday lunch here and I think this place is perfect for that - a special meal with surprises along the way. The menu changes regularly, but if you ever see the duck with mushrooms and buckwheat on it during your visit, you must get it! The coriander sorbet was also incroyable.

This is the crown jewel of lyonnaise cuisine, reservations a must. Had all three courses, roasted monkfish liver with carrot purée, sea bream with red lentil purée and helichrysum sauce, and a candied cherry and rhubarb with shortbread dessert. Also pictured is the roast beef and chocolate ganache with caramel and thyme ice cream my partner had. The fish dish was one of the best I’ve ever had bursting with flavor, the liver was rich, my dessert was very tart and sugary while the other was luscious chocolate with incredible textures. One of the best overall meals I’ve had, I can’t stress enough how much you should check this place out!!! The only negative was we ordered sparkling instead of still water and probably since we are Americans were served still. Their English is very good also, but a very understandable mix up.
