Friendly and attentive staff, pleasant interior (love the map on the ceiling in one room), large car park, good menu. However, even given the problems associated with keeping real ale fresh, I'm not traveling out this distance from home (40 minutes drive) again for a pub that only has keg or smooth on the bar. It's real ale or nothing for me and in a location like this it's essential.

Visited today for the first time in ages. The Saracens Head is now part of the Priory Inns group and what a difference. Excellent food, friendly staff, a dog friendly bar area with water supplied, clean, tidy and welcoming. Very impressive and I have no doubt we will be back.

What a great place to eat! Situated very close to Lymm village. The food is excellent, extremely tasty and good portions too, also with a great choice of drinks. Exceptional service (especially from Michael, a very pleasant and friendly member of staff). All measures have been put into place for social distancing so we felt safe. There are plenty of parking spaces and the welcome was a very warm one. We would highly recommend a visit to this place for couples, families, friends, etc. My meal was the rump steak which was delicious and perfectly cooked.

Enjoyed myself very much with children and family. Plenty of parking Great menu. I had the red wine mushroom pie. It was very nice and a good portion. The outdoor area is great for the children with a lovely park. Staff were friendly Prices were good.

Visited the Saracen's Head last week with my partner which we had to pre-book a table (due to demand/COVID limits). The pub itself is decorated/styled like an old country inn which makes it stand apart from the other pubs in the area. We were seated quickly, drinks/food order taken within 10 minutes of being seated. Staff were friendly and present. There's ample free parking on site and a children's play area around back (believe closed due to COVID) so a great place for families. Only reason for the 4/5 was due to both our mains being incorrect, and mine got sent back twice due to being wrong. Staff resolved within 10 minutes which is fine since it was being prepped from scratch.
