Quiet at the moment. You have to pay 2 quid to park. A small lake in all about 15 mins max to walk round. Loads of other paths to take. Cafe and picnic tables are all over.

Great location, with enough parking at a very reasonable price. All the trails I saw were in great condition even after storm Bella the night before and they were not muddy. With diffrent length trails its a fantastic place for young children and if you are looking to run it offers upto a 10k. Well worth a visit.

Mallards Pike is a lovely place for a gentle walk around the lake. At the moment (30 Dec 2020), it is very muddy from recent heavy rainfall, but one can still walk right around. There are other tougher walking / cycling routes leading off from the lake.

It is a great place to go with the family even with covid-19 and you can easily explore nature and have a cup of tea in the cafe...

Beautiful place, better in the winter when it's quiet. Loads of different routes to walk in a bit further out too.
