I approached Slav to get a copy of my father's birth certificate from the Lviv archives. At all times, Slave was very professional and efficient, responded to my questions quickly and provided me with updates on the search. After sending out the certificate he kept following up with me until the certificate was delivered. Slav obviously knows a lot about finding family records and everything went really smoothly. I'd highly recommend his services. I hope to visit Lviv one day soon to continue my family research and will definitely be using Slav's services whilst there. Thanks Slav for a great job and great service.

I went on a day tour from Lviv to the Carpathian mountains with Lviv Eco tours. Despite the cold weather the tour was amazing. The guide / driver arrived exactly on time at my Airbnb and guided me via a nice trail to the top of Mount Parashka. The nice thing about the guide was also that he knew a lot about the sovjet time and could explain me a lot about this period. If I go again from Lviv to the Carpathian mountains I definitely would go again with Lviv Ecotour.
Slav with Lviv Ecotour is absolutely genius at researching and finding genealogical records. We had lost hope at finding our 82 year old mother's Polish Birth records, as the village she was born in and lived in until her families' forced relocation during WWII had been bombed and became part of The Ukraine after the war. We had consulted Polish law firms to help, who told us it was extraordinarily difficult to find 80-year old records within the Ukraine and they declined to let us hire them. I found Lviv Ecotour in a Google search and Slav has become a close friend in this process. Within a week he located our mother's, her sister (plus two siblings we had not known about) and her parents' birth and marriage records, too. He found details through the Roman Catholic Church and state archives that we never dreamed still existed. We eagerly await his emails with new records and details of our family's past! We couldn't be more thankful and appreciative to be working with this gentleman and his resourceful team! We plan to visit in the summer and work with Slav at Lviv Ecotour to help plan a visit to the area our family had settled over a century ago. Thank you Slav

Shared an amazing two days with the lovely Sophie and her Husband Oleg. From helping search archives , to bouncing over terrible roads to find my families village, they were there every step of the way. Sophie had her work cut out for her as I discovered that talking Loud, Fast and with my hands, obviously runs in the Family! I couldn't have asked for two better people to share in this adventure with.
I booked a car trip with Slav in August 2019 from Lviv, Ukraine, to Sanok, Poland. He was both professional and friendly. Slav picked me up on time, was efficient in our choice of route, and made crossing the border as easy as possible. Conversationally, Slav had a lot of good information about the history and culture of the region and was a pleasure to talk to for the entirety of the trip. Having traveled on Polish and Ukrainian buses before, riding with Slav was a significant upgrade to celebrate the last leg of my summer's travels.
We traveled to the Carpathian mountains with Slav for 2 days to visit this unique region of Ukraine and to hike the highest peak - Mt Hoverla. We were lucky the weather cooperated. Setting up the trip was easily done via the website and via email. Using Viber, we were able to communicate regularly to establish pick up times and desired travel stops. Slav was very punctual, knowledgeable and familiar with the region and trails. We got to see an old wooden church in Rohatyn, a fortress in Halych and the Hutzul region of Yarmeche along the trip down. We were grateful that Slav could navigate the challenging eroding roads to get to the Mt. Hoverla trailhead and help us reach the top. Thank you Slav for giving us the high point of our Ukraine trip - literally. Highly Recommend!
