Wow. Great experience. On the lake of lucerne there is the most detailed and well thought museum which is actually also great adventure park of all kind of transportation methods from the beginning of times until now. Trains, cars, submarines, spaceships, airplanes and a lot more. Take the whole day for this place. Great for the whole family.

One day is not enough to explore such a huge collection of different vehicles. Impressed. Good for kids. Lots of things to learn, try, and play.

If you visit one museum in Switzerland, this should be it. Excellent museum for all ages. Plenty for the kids to do (a lot of interactive exhibits) and plenty for adults to enjoy exploring/experience. Hard to see the whole place in one day. My young kids enjoy the play area in the courtyard. Great for international guests with multiple language displays. Nice cafeteria for lunch.
What an awesome museum for the kiddos! Allows you to take a peek inside the methods of transportation throughout Switzerland and also gives you a full history of the system. There’s a really nice gift shop and a cafeteria with lots of seating room. Very easy to get here if you take the cruise over from central Luzern. Only a 2 minute walk from the cruise. There’s also a cute park close by.
Great museum, has some really interesting things. Your fine with getting a ticket just to view the museum because there is a lot to see. I suggest to go in the Space Transformer. The parking is very affordable.
Very interesting place, so full of information . The planetarium was awesome, and they have translators for french, italian, and english. From all the activities, i loved more the airplane pilot simulator, and the gravity cube simulator, also the exposition of trains, really cute.
A big museum, it's divided by transportation type, (cars, train, planes, boats) it has a helicopter, military jet and car simulator, were you can control and drive the plane/car. It's really big and takes some time to visit.
