A cosy, family restaurant run by Paolo who is politeness itself. I enjoyed beautifully grilled sea bass, served with delicious potatoes and veggies. A pity that not more people decide to support our local bars and restaurants like Paolo's. Highly recommended.

Very good meals and excellent service!! Two of us had the Portuguese steak and two of us had the chicken, prawn and chorizo skewers. The skewers were huge and delicious served with chips and a really good side salad that was not just lettuce and tomatoes. Wine was great. Waiters were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend and would go back there again.
Lovely dinner last evening. Had sea bass, hubby had spicy fried chicken. Service was friendy, efficient and informative. Enjoyed bottle of house red. Very reasonably priced. Recommend Paulo's highly.
Very nice place with a wonderful atmosphere. We went a little bit early for dinner so we were able to grab a table but just to be safe you should make a reservation since it got quite busy during the evening. The food was to put it simply, fantastic. Go for the grilled fish and the house wine for a guaranteed good time. The staff were very attentive and accommodating to all of our needs. Not only will we be going back, but we recommend this place to anyone who is in the area.
1. Our Kid was ignored by waiter and did not received table set! 2. Soups were very salty 3. We ordered tomato soup and we received different one 4. Fish was not that fresh as I would expect and I already ate it many times in different places 5. Waiter did not asked us if the food is ok during the meal and he asked others - Maybe Because they ordered more. For me this is rude. The service is rather poor.

The staff were very friendly at Paulo’s. We had an amazing meal there last evening - best meal in Portugal so far (after 6 days). The sea bass was delicious!!! My husband had the chicken/shrimp/chorizo skewer. He loved it. We had a wonderful cheese cake for dessert. We would highly recommend this restaurant!!
