Magnificent Palace with an incredible garden.
A castle without any interior finishing. Expect to stroll around empty rooms with temporary exhibitions. The garden is good for a relaxing walk. If you miss the opening hours there is not much to do and only a few mediocre choices for lunch
Fantastic cavalry garrison town and a chateau. Main square cafe to be avoided unless you want to taste the worst coffe in continental France. But it is really cheap and the owner lady is lovely, kind, a fairy, the last of that kind of old school bistrot owners.
Quiet and the garden is beautiful. Dont miss the light show if you visit in summer.
Expect empty rooms, newly renovated with temporary exhibitions. No historical items are to be found inaide the castle. 9 euros/person to be able to visit just 5 rooms seems too expensive...
