I had an emergency appointment followed by a filling a week later My whole experience was very well managed from the first call booking in right through to the final appointment- all handled with the professionalism and kindness I have come to appreciate in the 28 years of being with Lumley and Wood They are handling the current health situation brilliantly If you have any concerns about attending during this time wipe them away as everything is handled correctly with no risks whatsoever. Keep up the good work everyone.

Such a good experience, under the new covid19 regulations, today. Simon Wood did a grand job on my teeth despite the extra health and safety precautions
I had a dental emergency so called Simon Wood at Lumley and Wood to arrange an appointment. I was expecting a wait as the surgery had only just re opened but I was delighted to get an appointment within an hour or two of the call. The surgery was running a very efficient system with questions relating to COVID-19 both before and on arrival. My temperature was checked and hand sanitizer was provided. The surgery entrance was only opened for booked patients. I felt very safe in the surgery environment as the staff were wearing PPE with my dentist using a visor and a mask in addition to the usual measures. Extra equipment had been installed to extract the circulating air after every patient and cleaning of surfaces and longer gaps between patients were organised. An excellent service, as always, in what felt like a very safe environment.

Awful experience with Mr Lumley. I had over 650.00 of work carried out at Lumley and Wood Dental Practice to find I was getting pain almost instantly from the crown and filling he put in. My new dentist commented on the very low standard of work (without me saying anything) and I am now waiting to have it all replaced at cost of 800.
