My husband and I had been to several places looking for a home when we came to Terry Pate homes sales and walked into a home on their lot and we knew that was it. They were great on getting us the house we wanted and how we wanted it with making a few changes. We are just about finished up and our house is beautiful everything has been done perfectly! I was very excited about getting my house. We had went everywhere. Terry Pate was the last place they went. They gave me an excellent deal on the house. Everything went downhill from there. Whoever transports his homes needs their license taken...they tore down a light pole and a meter off someones house while delivering my home. Then they set up my house sideways. They lined it up with some stakes we had in the ground (Which were sideways and meant for sand delivery). I am not sure why they thought someone would want a house that sits sideways. Anyway, Pate told me I had to pay 300 for them to straighten my house. All while Duke Energy is there taking pictures of the transport trucks and the people who have no electricity are fussing at me. Once the trim out, set up, A/C, plumbing had been finished, Pate wanted the rest of his money. There was a whole list of things still wrong with the house, but he kept saying that it was a \Factory\ issue and that Clayton (Those who built my house) would have to come out and fix it. So, I have been moved in for a few weeks and still sitting on a toilet that is leaning and sideways. If you buy from him, make sure you have all the details of what he needs to do before you pay him in the contract. I am sure it will be another few weeks before Clayton comes out. So much more I could say, but long story short, buyer beware. They have beautiful homes, but everything is about a dollar, whether the home is to your satisfaction or not. I wish this would have been a better experience for me but...it is what it is.

Went to ask questions about home, male was on his phone when I walked in And then we went out to look at home he was on his phone the whole time playing video games When I asked a question he did not bother to look off his phone not the first time this happens to me in this place the attitude and no care for people would not recommend.
