Lucky 12 Tavern is a wonderful place to stop for a bite, a quick drink, or a full meal. Management (Mark) has taken great pains to see that all guests are Covid safe and comfortable. State rules are difficult but adhered to. The establishment is squeaky clean and seating is properly spaced. Service at Lucky 12 is prompt, attentive and I found the food to be great. I really enjoyed the atmosphere at the tavern. There are multiple screens to watch sports or other programming. Mark has an impressive collection of vintage signage to add interest and brighten the decor. If you happen to be cruising down Highway 12 in Kill Devil Hills the Lucky 12 Tavern is a great place to stop, relax, get a drink and a bite to eat. You can even grab a T-shirt on the way out. Enjoy!

Absolutely a local fave. Excellent pizza and tuna bites! Great time all year round! Highly recommend if you are looking for some local good eats!
The best part of this restaurant is it was walking distance from our hotel. My daughter and I got pizza and it was the worst pizza I've ever had! Flavorless made from cheap tomato paste, what looked like tiny Hormel grocery store pepperonis, and the grease was just way too much...looked like it was feozen pizza dipped in an oil trap! I didnt all of my meal nor did my daughter. The only reason I give this place 2 stars is because my friend said his crab cake sandwich was good. The servers were all female and they all seemed to have an attitude from the moment you walk in. They barely acknowledge you until it was time to leave. I definitely do not recommend this place! I also over heard that you can not split a ticket more than 2 ways. There was a large group or maybe 8 people, they helped them pull tables together and once they were ordering the waitress decided to tell them that they could only have 2 tickets per table. So, since they pulled the tables together they were considered one table. I was beside myself. Anyways, don't recommend.
Loved this place! I was visiting with friends for a weekend getaway trip to Nags Head and ran across this hidden gem . I was undecided on what to try for lunch so I ordered the grilled buffalo chicken BLT with friend okra and it was perfect! There's a variety of beers and cocktails to choose from. I ordered the capri-sun (alcoholic beverage) and it was surprisingly good! The service is also wonderful and I love the bar atmosphere. Definitely stop here for lunch/dinner if you're ever in the area! You'll enjoy the food and drinks!
Great drinks and wonderful atmosphere. Good bar for. Took off one star because it was expensive.
