If I could give them more stars, I would! This was hands down the best Mexican food I have ever had, and I have had lots of Mexican food in in my lifetime. The tortillas are fresh and I assume made in house, they were incredible! We ordered the surf and turf taco and Alambre California burrito with the street corn. It was all delicious. We were in town for 24 hours and I wanted to go again in that short time, that's how yummy it was. They have seating outside, that adheres to CDC recommendations. They were very accommodating and answered all my questions about the menu, as it was my first time trying Lucha Libre. I will for sure be going back as soon as I return to San Diego. If you are looking for amazing Mexican food, look no further! Enjoy :)

For the flavor gang, this place still throws down. Bomb meats, fresh chils and some great salsa. There is no dining in, but the food is amazing as always. Got the champion nachos, and knocked myself out. Red salsa slaps, and that cilantro thing is a ball buster... 10/10 recommend for movie night (which is every week night now)
Love this place! Really fun salsa bar and place to hang (at least pre-covid). The location is perfect to bring someone after picking them up from the airport. I’ve been trying a lot of their burritos since 2020 was the Year of Takeout and burritos travel so much better than tacos. I will definitely go back many times, and one of my visitors wanted to go a second time in the week that she visited!
If you love burritos (like I do), Lucha Libre is a must try. I had the surf and turf burrito and my friend said that they were so stacked, that if you place them on the table, they would stand upright on their own. And it was true! The burrito is so good and the salsa good as well. Also, if you're a wrestling fan like I am, you also get to enjoy the amazing wrestling photos and memorabilia all around the restaurant. Really good place to eat with a loved one, alone or with friends and family.
4 starts because the price of items is one dollar more than what's on the menu. We asked why when we noticed this, the answer was is due to covid-19. Rediculous reason where restaurants are happy to get customers while you are jacking the price on people who want to come and support their local business. Anyway, tried the surf and turf and the moly burritos. Great mix, fresh tortillas and mild tasty red and green salsa. I saw multiple locations on google but I only tried this one. The decoration was broken down and the floor cleared from tables and chairs. I take it because of covid-19. It has a unique decor with the Mexican wrestling theme. At least what's left of it.
