Nice bloke that came around and explained everything. After sales service very poor as they don't return calls. The heat pump they recommended doesn't work well for the space. Have lived in 2 other homes with heat pumps and they both managed to heat the space. This house is bigger and so is the heat pump but it will turn itself off and we are still cold. They did come back once and said there is nothing they can do. Would have appreciated more honest advice up front.

We had Smart Energy solutions install underfloor insulation. All was well until they actually installed it. Large holes in the insulation and the garden was left in a state with insulation, craft knife blades and staples left lying around everywhere. Apparently this was good enough for their inspector to sign it off. Would definitely not recommend.

It's surprising that they booked an assessment one month before, I confirmed about the assessment by calling them on the booking day, and I took an early off from the office to see them, and eventually they didn't turn up at all without any acknowledgement. It looks very non professional behavior.

We purchased SmartVent, Heat Transfer and underfloor insulation. Steve Holloway, customer sales lead, is excellent: has high technical knowledge, focuses on your home not a rote solution, immediate follow-up to Qs, visited four months after installation to check everything OK. All installation work was done on due date, fast and by good people. Underfloor insulation was very accurate, no missed spaces.

Well to begin with, All was going well with the quick and easy quote to get underfloor insulation installed. As we had other installtions going on in the house, we finally decided to go ahead with the quote they supplied. Wanting to pay with qcard, its not just simply go instore and swipe...You have to fill our forms and get approved at qcard, which to me is abit misleading! Spoke to someone at the branch and said someone will be intouch with me about sorting it all out. Havent herd anything for 2 weeks. And now the quote is expired. Thanks

Very disappointing insulation install....in the quote process, no issues were identified with installing underfloor insulation but just on a year later, I'm having to have it all removed and replaced to treat a borer problem that would have apparently been very noticeable on initial assessment. This company doesn't follow NZS 4246 in the slightest. Have raised the issue with the company and their response was oh that's bad luck and that man no longer works in the company...absolutely no ownership for costing me thousands and no efforts made to redress. Stay away from this company!
