Popped in as I was passing, to get some provisions - so I had a choice.. Generally it is quite inviting and a well laid out store and I started to basket some stuff. I asked the girls behind the screen if they had strawberries. They seemed so much more interested in the guy in the office and in chatting to each other, I felt an inconvenience. I got a snooty and indifferent response from one of the girls saying they are out of season and decided there and then to stop shopping, pay up and go. I went to another farm shop nearer to my home and got the rest of my food shopping - including some lovely strawberries. As I say, I exercised my choice to go there and will now exercise that choice not to return.

Come across by accident very pleased would definitely go again even if I do have to come from Maidstone
I like this shop as well as the fresh produce and normal farm shop products it acts as the village provision shop. It also has an onsite butcher. The people are always friendly.
Yes it's a little pricier than your average supermarket but then again the produce isn't just average. A micro shopping experience that connects you with artisan jams, lovely free range eggs plus a multitude of other items and if that isn't enough there's a terrific fresh butcher's counter too.
