Food is REALLY delicious, with generous portions - not over-sized, but not meagre either! Now-a-days you usually need to book a table, as their good reputation has spread. The garden centre shop has a lovely selection of cards, jewellery, soaps, childrens stuff, etc. The garden centre itself has a wide selection of flowers and shrubs, etc. Although I've never been in the farm shop, there always appears to be a steady stream of customers!

This is a lovely little farm shop at the Lowden Garden Centre....It is well stocked with all the farm shop favourites,with a great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables plus a cheese and savoury counter with your sausage rolls ect,also a butchery department with all your meats on display.....There is along with the gifts,a drinks area with all the wines and other alcoholic drinks.....overall it’s a nice little place to visit....
Went to the restaurant and had a lovely meal. Restaurant lovely and clean and well spaced out, staff very friendly. Good experience and would definitely recommend. Best to book a table in advance.
Lovely airy cafe with wood burning stoves. Real wood fired pizza lunch Thursday Friday Saturday until 14:30. Very good prices. Enthusiastic staff. Italian chef and authentic recipes.
Difficult, perhaps, to fully judge a place in these strange times, but I was generally impressed by the farm shop as well as the garden shop and cafe (open for basic takeaway, which can be consumed outdoors on the premises). Good range of vegetables, deli items (including cheese). The meat counter was a bit low in products when I got there, but looked promising. Numerous hand sanitizing points around the site. UPDATE: the sausages were amazing, delicious and as for the sensational Sicilian with fennel seeds and red wine, wow!
