Lovingly Artisan serves up delicious freshly baked bread. I didn’t realise we had the Baker of the Year, the award winning National Bakery and Olive Magazine Baker 2019 in our home town Altrincham. How did they keep that a secret? I bought my first loaf from Lovingly Artisan today and it was delicious, I will definitely be returning to this hidden gem of a bakery. It is definitely worth a visit. You will find it near Altrincham Market.
I keep going back to your Kendal Bakery for delicious baguettes and spiced apple bread. Extremely tasty! I can't wait for more soon!!
Attend the Sourdough bread making course in August. Aidan - 2019 Baker of the Year - provided practical demonstrations in the art of baking Sourdough bread. Tips on kneading and prooving, and developing a feel for the dough could not be learned by reading a book We left with a 35 year old starter, as well as a rye starter which we prepared ourselves from scratch. We have booked on the next course.
This bakery is amazing. They do lots of different flavours of artisan bread but my absolute favourite is the ciabatta. Sorry, I know it sounds boring amidst all the flavour combinations they have, but I swear the ciabatta baked on the day is just the best bread I've ever had. Grill it very lightly, spread with good soft butter and crispy bacon and it will be the best bacon sandwich of your life... Trust me.
