Emerson's was recommended to us by a friend who grew up in the Hunter Valley, and we're so glad we made a booking. The food and service made up for the lack of views. We ordered the XL Garlic King prawns and the cauliflower dish, both were incredible dishes. We were warned about the prawns served in the shells, and I personally think they hold more flavour when they're cooked this way! The garlic butter sauce was a perfect compliment to the dish. The cauliflower dish was recommended to us by the waitress, was packed full lots of lovely flavours and textures, a must order! The staff were lovely, and made the dining experience very enjoyable.

Great food. Suprisingly better than the description on the menu which was awesome to start with. Great chef , great food. Highly recommended.
We were returning customers due to the awesome service we had the previous time. Unfortunately it was one of the worst experience we got this time. Our dinner time was 8pm on a Friday night and by that time we could only pick few items from the menu because most of the food in the menu had run out by that time. Would not recommend this anymore.
Sensational sucking pig and slow cooked duck risotto. Large yet beautifully presented portions, reasonable prices, great service and stellar coffee. Absolutely brilliant! Will be back and will be sending others!
Food was absolutely great, and staff were very nice. The location is very convenient and close to the beach.
We were extremely disappointed at the selection of food. The price and the table service a cracked and dirty cocktail glass didn't sit well, we went there a few years ago and it was fantastic, We believe they have changed hands. We wouldn't go there again, far better restaurants in the Hunter Valley
Great food, reasonable portions. The service was great, everything we tasted was amazing. The only thing I didn't enjoy is the artwork on the walls but that's not important.
