I have just bought my second refurbished laptop from Louth Computer Shop. I live in the town and I like being able to buy locally and chat with an experienced professional about how my specific requirements can be met. Any issues are dealt with promptly and no fuss. My last purchase was 6 years ago and the next one will be here too!

Bought a second hand Dell laptop. Charger cable supplied by shop was a HP. Due to it not fitting I lost hours of coursework. The laptop saved but once it lost its charge, i was unable to retrieve it. Nick was unhelpful, cold and his customer service skills were absolutely awful. He point blank refused to retrieve my coursework of the laptop for me. I am now chasing a deadline. He gave me my money back but I now had to trust him to wipe all data off the laptop as I could not access it myself without battery charge. Will not recommend this shop, because as a local business man he should have tried to help me, local business also. In this pandemic we are suppose to be kind, but money is obviously more important to him. Once he had to return my money, he wasn't interested at all.

I thought I might need a new computer, but Nick at Louth Computer Shop not only fixed my laptop but improved it. He knows his stuff and there is no hard sell. Just moved to the area and very glad to know there is a trustworthy shop nearby when I need help again. Totally recommended.
The service and advice is excellent. The owner ensures to explain the problems and issues and one gets the feeling he is helping and not making a fast buck or easy sale. I have recommended this shop to my friends if ever they want to buy a computer or need advice or repairs. Please, please please use this shop, don't rely on internet or fast talking salse reps at the bigger IT outlets.
