A wonderful catholic shrine. This is a truly memorable pilgrimage site. It is so peaceful and spiritual. A shrine of healing and reconciliation.

I am a Catholic, so visiting this pilgrimage place meant a lot to me. We stayed in a hotel nearby, so we could walk to the sanctuaries at any time. Praying a the grotto was an unforgettable experience. Take the time to visit the different temples within the premises. Each one has a different charm. I definitely want to come back.

Very beautiful Cathedral. Very holy and spiritual place to be at. Alot of pilgrims coming here during the week. Staff is very helpful and friendly to everyone. Alot of masses offered during the day. Bathrooms available for free. Plenty masses and special services here for pilgrims. Grotto is very beautiful and the churches are all beautifully built.

Excellent place to do pilgrimage. Devotees from all over the world were atuned. Grotto gave me goosebumps. Only place where I participated in two occasions praying the rosary. Candle procession was divine. Mass at 9am in English at the Immaculate Chapel was celebrated by 4 priests. Met father James Burns who was so friendly. Hope to be back someday with the whole family.

Highly recommended for a visit. Lourdes is such a beautiful town, The Sanctuary of Notre Dame brings together the curious, faithful, spiritual and those in need of healing from all over the world. Whether you are a believer or not, the ambiance and serenity of Lourdes will truly give you a sense of peace. This historical, beautiful and holy place leaves you feeling calm. With the pilgrims and those going on their own you will find that you're a part of a community. The grotto is beautiful day or night, the feeling you get is inexplicable and can only be classed as high vibrational energy.

Not just a pilgrimage location, but also a tourist attractions. For those pilgrimage like me, I would definitely recommend this sanctuaries and took part in their morning Mass at the groto.

I used to go all the time but the new recteur doesn't seem to like traditionally-minded Catholics unless their presence is profitable (e.g 50th anniversary SSPX for Christ the King weekend). Otherwise, Latin Mass attendees are obliged to leave the premises if they wish to receive the Body of Christ in the traditional manner, not possible during the old Mass.
