Lovely place, the church is amazing it is very accessible for wheelchair users. The grotto here is also very nice to visit. There are a lot of shops, restaurants and bars just outside of the church h grounds. There is a candle light procession every night at 9pm which is very nice either just to watch or maybe even join in.

The great Notre Dame cathedral of Lourdes is an impressive and beautiful monument for Christianty in sourthen France. We got there half by accident and spent only a night, but for us it magical - the parade, the burning candles and lanterns and the masses of people was an enchanting sight. Before i came there i thought that Christianty was dying in the west, with churches and cathedrals as relics to be admired by tourists, nothing more. After i saw how atrractive Lourdes was to the beleviers I'm not so sure anymore. Ab excellent place to visit.
