We had our wedding at Sutton Bonington Hall this May. Claire, the owner was amazing to deal with, she really welcomed us to her home and cared about out wedding day which made us feel so special. Claire really takes time to get to know you as a couple, this personal approach and genuine interest in us as a couple made a difference and that is why we picked Sutton Bonington Hall as our wedding venue. The venue speaks for itself, the gardens are beautiful and the hall is grand but has an informal relaxed style. The conservatory with the views overlooking the garden is just breathtaking and the drawing room is perfect for the evening set up. The hall has the advantage of having 6 bedrooms which worked perfectly for me and my bridesmaids. The bridal suite is beautiful and so are the other rooms, and on the morning of the wedding we were served a delicious breakfast downstairs in the hall, all made for a relaxing start to the wedding day. Overall our wedding day was amazing (even the slight bit of rain didn't dampen our spirits) and all of the guests commented on how lovely the venue was, we would not hesitate to recommend the venue to family and friends.Thank you Claire and Edward for making our wedding day so special Corinne & David

Our wedding at Sutton Bonington Hall was fantastic, the house is a brilliant venue and everyone couldn't do enough to help to make the day go well. It rained pretty much all day but the Hall's rooms are plenty spacious for it not to feel crowded or stuffy and there were lots of places to take photographs inside. There's also loads of parking, plenty of B&B's nearby for guests and good transport links. The gardens (in better weather!) are also lovely and would make an ideal place for photographs

Where do I start we had our wedding there in September 2019 and it was amazing. Claire and Edward are just the two most loveliest people. I had lots of questions and they where very prompt in answering and/or finding the perfect solution. Charlotte was our allocated organiser leading up to and on the day and she is so calm and professional and makes the day flow with ease. Food was fantastic, venue amazing and gardens that make any photographs special. We where very lucky to have the perfect weather but there are enough beautiful rooms to accommodate if the weather lets you down. So many of our guest commented that it was one of the best weddings they have been to and have earmarked this venue for there own wedding. Thank you once again Claire, Edward and Charlotte. p.s They do have a church on the grounds or you can have a ceremony there and this makes the logistics of any wedding a very relaxed and stress free day.

A fantastic wedding experience throughout, ably supported by the owners Claire and Edward and their friendly, helpful staff. The hall is a beautiful period building and is full of architectural character and benefits greatly from being a family home rather than a corporate venue. The grounds are spacious and very pretty. We had a relatively high number of younger children at the wedding and they enjoyed exploring inside, happily pottering around in the four reception rooms (including orangery). When the weather permitted the grounds were ideal for them to let off some steam. Our family travelled from abroad so we booked the venue from Friday to Sunday (for a Saturday wedding) and the rooms were nice with each having a unique feel. The hosts put on an excellent breakfast for us on both Saturday and Sunday. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for an intimate wedding!
