Thought we would go out for a Steak last night and ended up at Lou bombareau. Nice surprise 4 course meal for 21euros. Including our steak and chips. The plates were warm, staff were pleasant and rapid, but not rushing us. Which is good for us as we just wanted a mid week meal without fuss! Good flavours with a variety of choices. The house wine was just fine. In the restaurant a local gentleman was on his own with a newspaper and he was attended to quite caringly. Some friends had a arrived together for evening meal. I think they were parked in a camping car at Montignac. So very convenient.. I must add the chips were the best I have had since arriving in France 6 years ago. Hot and crispy without a taste of fat!! I will be returning for the 14 Euro lunchtime menu if not a secret plate of fries.

Great sea food.great local food. Good wine. Reasonable prices. Pity that chips were dry (frozen). Cosy ambience.
Great! Delicious meal of duck confit with a Périgord side salad. Didn't have room for dessert! Next time
We spent a wonderful evening here. Before ordering we received bread and a delicious tapenade. My husband's entree was superb (a surprising but wonderful layered combination of pureed beet, green salad and crispy shrimp); both plats were to die for (moules curry rouge, oh my, and cabillaud), and the tarte mirabelle for dessert was excellent. Service was pleasant - this is France, so it's never hurried; take your time and enjoy every bite!

Un burger avec du pain Harris industriel même pas chauffé dans un restaurant c'est tout simplement scandaleux des frites surgelées tellement cuites que l' ont croirait du graillon, l effiloché de confie de canard en conserve a peine tiède ... mon ami avait pris des moules qu'il a aimé mais pour les frites même constat ... franchement pas bonnes
