When my ring fell off my hand in between the deck floor boards, I didn't know what to do. Luckily Dan saved the day! He was great to work with - knowledgeable, reliable, professional, and just a great neighbor that you can trust. He made the whole process really easy and found my ring in a short amount of time. I lost a special ring and really wanted to find it. I had a pretty good idea it was in my lawn, but figured I needed a metal detector to help find it. As I looked at options it was clear that getting professional help was the best approach. I found Dan and reached out. He actually referred me to Paul Humphrey who lived just a few miles from my home. Paul was fantastic. For starters he asked a lot of questions and provided a lot of tips on how to narrow the timeline for the loss and places to look ;you may not think about. After coming to the original conclusion that it may be in my lawn Paul came out to do a search. This was no small task with a 1 acre lot. We did have some ways to narrow down to higher probability locations and within an hour I was reunited with my ring. This was truly a 1 in 6,000,000 find (6,000,000 sq inches in an acre)! The better you can narrow the loss down the higher the odds these guys can help. If it is where you send them, they will find it.
I lost my engagement ring after taking it off to put lotion on my hands - I set it down on the bed, forgot it was there and carelessly fluffed up the blanket sending my ring flying across the room. I ran to get it off the floor except it was not there!!! I tore apart the room and the ring was no where to be found. After 3 1/2 hours of desperately searching, I decided to get some rest and try again the next day. I came across an article of someone with a similar situation that got help from Dan, owner of Lost and Found Ring - from their testimony I just knew I had to reach out to him! I called Dan and he picked up right away, even with him being in Wisconsin and me in Florida, he took the time to listen and give me all the tips and help he possibly could. He said "Check inside the shoes in the room", sure enough that's where it was! I appreciate the time he took to help me with such enthusiasm and really give me a clear head on the situation. I think it's such a neat and kind thing he is doing helping who he can to find their most treasured and sentimental items!

Dan was so kind! I dropped my engagement ring in a very thick carpet under the bed. I knew it was there somewhere, but we couldn’t find it. We thought to call for a metal detector, and Dan helped us find one in our area! He was so sweet and really took the time to help. Highly recommend!
Dan was prompt, professional and great to work with - and he was able to quickly locate my ring after it slipped off in Lake Monona (pro tip: don’t wear rings while swimming in the lake!). I’m so grateful that he was able to find it!
