The ceviche de pescado is good. The molcajete is O.K. The champoorado is good , the tamles are ok. The torta is ok. the tacos al pastor not the best. But the very worst are the birria tacos with conzome the conzome is basically water , the tacos de birria are not well made. I told our server and the cashier about the issue hopefully someone communicated to the kitchen staff. The service is slow and our food came out all separate/different times, no refills on our drinks eventho they were all empty. The salsas are not good. And yes I payed for everything order and there was a tip added to my bill for mediocre service.
We order seafood soup which was season well. I would like real crab meat for 25 a bowl. The authentic steak tacos was good. Steak quesadilla was also good. The margarita drinks though was too sweet. I don’t like there margarita mix. The mix take away from the alcohol taste for my preference. I recommend switching the margarita mix up and don’t put so much grand gala in the margaritas. Other table away from us literally left a pitcher on the table and left.
I've eaten here several times now. This place is authentic and fantastic. The service is outstanding and the portions are generous for the price. I will eat here every chance I get and highly recommend that you do the same. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, this is primo!!!! Look no further
I had the WORST experience here. The girl at the checkout “Monica” took our Togo order and we left to run a quick errand while they prepared our food. We came back about 15 mins later grabbed our food and went home. When we got home we discovered that we didn’t get the 2 sides of salsa we ordered, so we went back and checked our receipt and saw that she charged us for 3 chips and salsa instead of the 2 that I asked for. She rectified that by giving us a free queso, it was annoying because we had to leave the house again after a long day of working but mistakes happen. However, after coming home and opening the food we ordered i noticed that I got 2 sides of beans with my chipotle chicken when I only asked to sub the veggies for beans and to keep the rice that already comes with it. Come to find out, we were charged extra for two sides of beans instead of the substitution I asked for. Annoyed, I called the store and Monica was very rude and I was very irritated. She refused to provide a solution to the issue, refused to refund any of the money, refused to give the contact information to any manager or owner so that they could solve the issue. We ended up having to drive all the way back to the store again due to her lack of solutions, cursing at us over the phone, and continuously putting us on hold because she needed to “talk to herself,” which I don’t understand...I would absolutely not recommend this establishment. HORRIBLE service from Monica.
