Very cool to walk around a building that stores every store of prop imaginable. From chairs, to clothes, to food this place has everything. Very interesting to be so close to all the props used in major movies and TV series.
OMG... this is part of the VIP experience.... and wow... there was prop stuff still in the boxes ready to be inventoried from The Mummy with Tom Cruise... there was just so much stuff to see and no where enough time to check it out... lol... totally would do it again.
This is a rare treat! You have to have the VIP package. It's worth the price. The regular purchase tickets do not get the \Prop House\ tour. Only VIP guests get that tour with a private luncheon. You really get a nice tour and sound studio visits as well.
We were lucky enough to enjoy this very unique experience to tour the prop house as part of the VIP tour for the Universal theme park. It was like being in a Home Depot with high and long shelves and shelves and more shelves in a warehouse sized building. We only got to tour the first floor and there are 4 floors in the building. Pretty cool to see things that were from your favorite movie or TV show.
