Sadly, working as a real estate broker, I sent my clients to the building after we had multiple showings at other apartment and condo buildings in the area. I called the leasing agent Joana and let her know that my clients have either stopped by or may be there now (as I had a other appointment to get to). She said that they were working with her manager/leasing colleague. They promised to fulfill their duties and pay commissions but after client was accepted they decided to not pay commissions. This was a horrible bait and switch and I'll also be notifying the mls board. May be nice apartments but if you are a real estate broker, don't bother bringing your clients here.
Nicest, safest building in the area, on-site management is top notch and very attentive. Street / area can be \interesting.\ Amenities are great. I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked the Line Lofts. Was planning to stay for only a month, ended up staying longer. Update: While the onsite management is superb and they have excellent customer service skills, upper management (aka the gods) can behave and make decisions in what can only be described as ridiculous, like a parody of sorts. Tenant retention is low.
I wouldn't recommend living here as the tenant retention is low. They are more concerned with PR than actually making this place worthwhile and have no culpability but will remain idle, lie if there is a problem. A tip for those new to renting, if you see 0 deposit I'd be concerned about that, it usually is for those with bad credit, if it seems too good to be true it probably is.
Great location and wonderful staff. The services and public spaces are great.
