Fresh fish, perfect rice, and the friendliest service! I will come whenever in town. If you like authentic sushi, look no further.

This food almost brought tears to my eyes except it didn't quite take me there because I was so overwhelmed with joy. Chicken and potatoes brings me back to my childhood except this food is elevated. Herbs, lemon, and garlic fill the aroma of your soul and crispy chicken is everything your craving. The potatoes taste of rosemary and olive oil. You can feel the love in this food. Flowers and herbs surround the plate and is absolutely beautiful. The owner Natalie is lovely and is passionate about what she does and it shows. Thank you for this beautiful meal and an experience I will never forget!

We can't get enough of Takao's delicious Specials! The menu is consistently fresh and well prepared. The team seems to be entirely Japanese and as a result the high level of workmanship is clearly evident in the various dishes presented on the menu. There is a low key atmosphere and simple design approach at play here compare to high end Japanese establishments in Brentwood. Yet what matters most, Foods and customer service are always on point. Highly recommend this wonderful neighborhood Sushi Bar.

In a word: YUM. Came here on a Friday night and we didn't wait more than 15 minutes. The staff were super friendly and the food was great. I believe the Jumping Salmon roll pairs quite nicely with a bottle of Sapporo, but that's just me.
