Usually the food is so good. But lately it has lost its touch. The rice is either over cooked or under cook. They over charge you for small portions. Also if you try to call them to place an order good luck. They never ever answer the phone. You call ten times before someone decides to answer. They need to get it together. They have at least 10 people in the kitchen and 1 person handing the food out.

I absolutely love Mario's Peruvian, best lomo saltado in Los Angeles. Pre- COVID I would eagerly wait up to an hour to be seated because the food was that delicious! Post-Covid, I ordered it over the phone and picked it up within 15 minutes. Just as delicious as ever in the safety of my home as it is in the restaurant.
Best lomo saltado and crispy calamari that I travel from Pasadena to LA just to pickup this food about one a month.
