Liz Lira is a world champion salsa dancer! Can you find anyone better to teach you? I don't think so! She is also an amazing teacher. I have taken numerous classes from her, her patience is limitless! There are performance teams you can join, and set a goal and perform! Can it get any more fun than this??? Her personality is fun and energetic which makes classes so much more fun. Definitely the one of the best places to start learning how to dance in LA!

Love this place, I started out with a 6 class pass and learned so much. I tried learning salsa from YouTube videos and didn't really get it, this place made it click. People come from all over to learn here, and everyone is so warm that it's a family atmosphere. Plus they do seasonal parties where you get to see liz, the other instructors and students perform and it blew me away. I'll be here for a while.
First off, I can't dance, but while taking this class I felt like I could. That should say a lot about this place. It's definitely fun and worthwhile to do so. I also thought I would be the only guy, but there were at least 5-6 guys in the class so I didn't feel like I was overwhelmed by estrogen. Great class, I would come here again to learn more routines ps: Beware, when you get home and record yourself on video, you realize you don't look as cool, just make sure not to share it on YouTube by accident!
3.5 stars. This is a gem of a studio completely friendly to the novice dancer and those just looking to get their groove on. My favorite instructors are Wil-son for his cardio hip hop classes. I've taken his Zumba and while fun and will definitely make you sweat, the cardio hip hop is more challenging as it's choreography and he always throws in a tricky breakdance move at the end.
Still loving it after all these years! The new location is bigger, better and more beautiful than ever. The instructors are always friendly and the classes are fun and challenging. Still loving the Booika and Taty!!
