I have been coming to Highland Park Christian Church since 2010. From the beginning I enjoyed the calm, friendly and welcoming attitude from the people there. No pressure or insensitive personal questions, just a warm, welcome feeling. The teaching there is purely from the Bible, and Pastor Harvey has a real gift of translating scripture in to easily understandable English. They also have a GREAT Sunday School class, Sunday mornings before service. I would recommend this Church to anyone.
Following in the traditions of the late Pastor Cruver, Pastor Harvey & Denise have picked up the torch and have carried it with the same love and devotion towards all people and God's word. I enjoy visiting the services filled with inspirational hymns and worship songs and a message straight out of the Bible. After each service is a time of socializing with friends and meeting new people.
This church is a staple in the Highland Park community as well as my four generation family. Most of my family went to school here, and still go to church here. Infact my parents met here! With easy to understand Bible messages, singing, and prayers for one another I feel revived every week. Very friendly and loving family environment for all ages!
