Was too tough as a beginner 18 months ago but with more experience I enjoy the challenges this course offers now. Some of the signing between holes is not great but they have been working on that. A lot of the really unforgiving thorns and brambles have been removed too. Not a place for a quick round, but if you want to get your steps in then this is the best local place to do that

I am new to disc golf and found this place online. The course seems like it is well laid out and I really liked that each hole has a \pro\ and a egular\ regular tee and a \pro\ and egular\ basket. So essentially you have two courses with the footprint of one course. I have played here once on weekend with a bit of a crowd and a couple of times during the week and I think we were the only ones here. I like that many of the holes are not overly challenging so beginners like myself don't get scared off.

First time ever playing disc golf. Very beautiful and picturesque. Be prepared to walk between some holes. Directions for where to go for next hole could be better. The walk between 16 and 17 is crazy long.

Just an FYI. This is also called the Giles Run course. I’m not sure if I spent more time looking for the course, the holes, or my disc. Apple Maps cannot find this place. I recommend using the Lorton Hill Apartment address and finding the closest road to the park. The holes are not well labeled and there are 2 holes for each course, white and red. So that creates confusion. Ultimately, my 4 stars has to do with disc golf. A great challenging course that comes with a great hike. Grab a friend and give it a shot.

A much larger than anticipated course that sits in the shadow of the former Lorton Prison (that has parts of the original prison turned into apartments; weird.) The course was challenging and I went out of bounds a few times due to being sorely out of practice. They offer two levels of difficulty: pro and regular; each have a separate pad and pin. Good course; well maintained.
