Asylum of Cakery

Such a great school! Fantastic classes, great tutor's and amazing food. The kids always have fun here with the classes and the adult classes are packed with information but are laid back, there is no judgement with experience and nothing is ever to much. Highly recommended

While my partner and I stayed at the Hudnalls Hideout we were lucky enough to have a private chef (Yvonne) come and cook for us. What a treat this was!! The food, we can honestly say has been some of the most delicious and incredible food we have had this year. To start we had wild boar terrine with ale and apple chutney and fresh salad. For mains we had pork and cider casserole with dauphenouise potatoes, yellow courgette and butternut squash. And for dessert we had Speech House pudding. The flavours blew us away and we were left stuffed. Yvonne was especially lovely, passionate and a great conversationalist. It was a joy to watch her cook and we would love to visit her cookery school one day! I highly recommend!

Hart’s Barn Cookery School and Apple Barn is a stunning and unique venue, set in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside. I have enjoyed a number of supper clubs, including Carribean and Greek which were amazing, plus several delicious corporate buffets and my daughter also had a brilliant “Sushi-making” birthday party. Always a warm welcome from the school’s principal, Yvette, and her team. Highly recommended.
