Hazel, the owner, was very friendly and knowledgeable and kindly helped us with buying plants and trees. She knew important details for all plants and trees and her suggestions were tailored to our garden. She was absolutely lovely and patient with all our questions, as there are so many plants and trees to choose from. The gardens were very special and deeply sympathetic to the landscape. You can tell by the formation of the gardens that she is an expert in landscaping! There is an entertaining quiz game to play in the gardens that can make children's but also adults' walk even more fun! We had a lovely time and we will definitely go back to buy more!

Wonderful gardens. Look small from the entrance but huge areas to explore. And very informative signage on climate change and what we can do in our own gardens.

What a unique and beautiful garden! There are lots of interesting corners with varying styles and designs and the landscaping itself is very inspirational. We also loved the tranquility of the arboretum. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful and there are lots of beautiful plants to buy from their plants centre. Everything is grown in their own nursery and already hardened for sale so the plants are very healthy. Definitely recommend it.

I have visited these gardens many times and am always struck by the originality, energy and vision of the designer and owner. That it is not perfect is one of its joys. The gardens contain many unusual and beautiful plant and tree specimens and the nursery is full of temptations. I will visit again and again.

Sorry but this is a very poor garden and certainly not value for the entrance fee. The gardens are uncared for and I was pulling out weeds myself. Footpaths are very uneven and rough and totally unsuitable for elderly people. I am being generous giving one star!
