I attended the OSHA 30 Hour Construction Outreach Training Program and the (4) four, full consecutive days enforced and refreshed my professional knowledge and expertise. These courses could be better assimilated if the instructors focused solely on OSHA, rather than DOB and OSHA, which could be misleading to many not familiar with the Department of Buildings' (DOB) Code and Regulations. Ample blank writing material should also be provided since the class handouts contained very little blank space for note taking. Natasha, the pretty Salesperson at the adjacent TSCTA store, was very pleasant and gave me several student discounts on field related items such as Jackets, Sweaters, Gloves and Glasses. Natasha deserves pay raises and commission for her kind and natural sales abilities.

SST card in New York City are confusing to begin with but the company is given the trust of the public by the DOB to educate and guide. My experience so far is they will take your money than tell you what is needed and than say you need more training and charge you more money. I would be very careful handing over your wallet to this company before they mislead you as they did to me. Their are many other companies that would work with you rather than rip you off. SST cards are issued by the training company through a series of classes approved by the DOB. SST cards are not issued by the DOB so the information on what classes you must take are misleading . Go directly to the DOB for classes before you become fooled into a class you do not need by TSC. The staff are misleading and lack knowledge on what particular class you may need in order to work in NYC.
