I purchased a patchwork, wing chair from Long Eaton Sofas and after just 6 months of use the stitching started coming apart on the seams of a particular fabric. After approaching the owner, I was fobbed off repeatedly and eventually told that it must have been damaged in storage and/or transit and was basically nothing to do with them. This is crazy as clearly it it arrived damaged, I would have notified them on delivery. After having the chair independently reviewed by other experts in the field I have received reports to say this is not the case, the seams are coming apart due to poor workmanship. I have consequently had to make a section 75 credit card claim to get the cost of the repair recovered as Long Eaton will not take ownership of the problem. Would never deal with this company again as they were dishonest and clearly do not value their customers.

Firstly, They have a really good set up for staying safe. Everything is well displayed over two floors and plenty of time to make a decision with definitely no pressure. Lovely well built furniture, lots of different styles and so much choice of covers, make up of cushions and feet. Will update when my sofa arrives.
No selling pressure - quality goods at very reasonable prices. Any sofa in any size, any firmness (even different firmness on the same seats) and in any material. One day all shopping will be as calm and pleasurable.
Ordered a sofa and chair good showroom no pressure selling we spent time looking round then ordered with Chris who was very helpful
John and Tom were extremely helpful when we visited going to the extent of mocking up the height of the 'raised' sofa we wanted and being clear about materials and costs etc. John also gave us a tour of the factory. Delivery took a little longer than anticipated but we now have some really comfortable, custom made sofas to last for a long time.
