Absolutely loved this venue. Really spacious but also beautiful. Everyone so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had our wedding evening celebration here and everyone loved it and it's location. Can't recommend it enough.

A fantastic venue and facilities for relaxed fun wedding. Caterers and organiser appreciated the capacity, lay out and helpful liaison with LCVH team. Outside space used for football and cricket games; younger children enjoyed play ground. Outdoor ceremony brought successfully indoors at short notice using the second smaller hall without intruding on the main hall reception set up. A very happy day. Thank you.
Booked my daughters fifth birthday party at the village hall, huge space enough for a bouncy castle, soft play area and tables! Booking service is so easy and friendly, at a really reasonable price for the usage of hall and kitchen! Plenty of parking space, and an outside area joined to the hall! The village park is there too, adding to the beautiful setting! Will most certainly be using again in the future!
We booked Long Clawson village hall for our daughter's wedding on 5th August 2017. The venue was better than we could have imagined. Faith, who was in charge of bookings was very accommodating and helpful. The hall had drapes and fairy lights already put up for us and tables and chairs put out as part of the booking fee. The space available at the hall enabled us to have a room for a drinks reception and evening food and the kitchen was large enough for us to prepare food and clean dishes. The bar was manned for us all evening. The adjacent field was perfect for photos and the play area was great for entertaining kids. The hall was very clean when we arrived and we were able to pay for it to be cleaned after so we didn't have to do it. We would highly recommend Long Clawson village hall as a wedding venue. The only negative thing was having to bring our own champagne flutes and tumblers however we were allowed to bring our own welcome drink and toasting drink and the wine purchased through the village hall was very reasonable and wine glasses were provided.
I run a weekly yoga class at the village hall. It is such a beautiful space, with plenty of parking, and a quiet and stunning location with views to match. The hall is always warm and clean, and really well maintained. I can't recommend this hall highly enough. Chris Taylor.
