VERY rarely do I ever write reviews, but my Grandmother and I couldn’t agree more on just how wonderful Dr. Sharmini Long really is. My Grandmother is a patient and as her caretaker, I’ve also had the opportunity to witness first-hand at each visit, just how kind, thorough, knowledgeable and genuinely caring Dr. Sharmini Long truly is. If you’re looking for a well-educated and equally compassionate Endocrinologist, look no further!

Was asked by the office manager to remove my post I told him I will not take my post down until I received better service. I schedule and appt 4 months ago and the doctor needed to reschedule my appointment because of whatever issue which was fine but the soonest they could get me in would be for another 5 months to see Dr.Long that is unacceptable waited 3 weeks to talk to the manager called back because he hasn’t returned my call and all he could offer me was a wait list what a joke. Just when I thought the office was getting back on track he does nothing to rectify this issue they don’t care about their patients here and I’ve been more that patient with this clinic !!!Update just to make matters worse I got a bill for 100 dollars because they marked me as a no show and they refused me service!!!!!!!!! I showed up early to that appt. This office staff here is beyond rude. I left my wallet at home and they refused to see me because I owe them 40 dollars asked could I be billed and they told me no so they rescheduled me for the end of this month but before I got home they left me a voicemail stating that it would be another month or two before I can see the doctor . I’ve struggled with my levels for years and it was very important that I find out if they were ok or if the meds had to be changed.A few months ago there was a delay in my shipping for my medication and Dr.Long told me if that ever happened to come into the off and get samples. Oh boy why did I do that they treated me like a drug addict they yelled at me in the waiting room and told me to never do that again and that Dr. Long didn’t put that in her notes that I can pickup samples. Dr.Long is great but I will find another office that will treat me better I refuse to be treated this way again by this office.
I have no complaints about the actual Dr's at this office. However the office staff is terrible to say the least. I actually had to purchase my Rx's off Craigslist because it took the office over 2 months to get a Rx to the supplier. A Rx I've been on for over 15 years through Medtronic. Speaking of Medtronic, their rep who works in this office, Bill Blane, has not a clue about diabetes and should not be working in this field.

I saw Dr Waug and she was so kind and thorough. The office staff was also kind. I really feel I am trust them.
UPDATED: I saw Dr. Long a couple of weeks ago. She was kind, thorough, and easy to talk with. As I was checking out after my appointment, an individual named Riad greeted me, introduced himself as the new office manager, and offered to help with anything at any time. Two months ago, I left a review here, mentioning some poor service provided by someone in their scheduling area. When I met Riad, he mentioned my earlier review and said that some changes had been made at the office since then. That's great. Like many businesses and providers today, Dr. Long and her staff pay attention to feedback and clearly have a desire to improve wherever they can. I am including a brief summary of my prior experience because I think it's helpful to know that no provider or business is perfect - what matters is the desire to be and do better. When I called two months ago to schedule an appointment, the scheduling staff was rude and abrasive and not nice or helpful. It was almost enough for me not to see the doctor, but I kept my appointment with Dr. Long since my referring doctor had shared such a positive opinion of Dr. Long. I'm glad I did. Since then I've also spoken a couple of times with Angeli, who assisted me with scheduling and also later reviewed lab results with me. She was great - and very helpful!
